This part is easy, don’t let it overwhelm you. Here are 5 basic notes to acknowledge before grocery shopping for anti-inflammatory foods!
- Write out a grocery list of everything you need and bring it in the grocery store so while you are shopping you don’t forget what you need.
- Mostly everything you get won’t come in a box (You are purchasing WHOLE foods!)
- Eat the rainbow.. that’s right! Don’t be shy, try new things you never would have picked up before in the produce aisle.
- Avoid any processed foods! (Cereal, Chips, Frozen Meals, Processed Meats, Canned Food, Sweetened Beverages)
- Healthy fats.. That may sound strange to people who know little about health. Focus on Monounsaturated fats and Omega-3 Polyunsaturated Fats.
