The root of inflammation

What causes inflammation? MANY things do, below is a list of some factors of information. (From Cleveland Clinic – https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/symptoms/21660-inflammation)

  1. Low levels of physical activity
  2. Chronic stress
  3. Having a BMI at or above 30 (obesity), especially when excess weight is deep within your belly (visceral fat).
  4. An imbalance of healthy and unhealthy microbes in your gut (dysbiosis).
  5. Regularly eating foods that cause inflammation, such as foods high in trans fat or salt.
  6. Disrupted sleep and circadian rhythm.
  7. Exposures to toxins, including air pollution, hazardous waste and industrial chemicals.
  8. Using tobacco products.
  9. Regularly drinking too much alcohol.
